Chancel Choir Director
Linda Lockart has served the Lord as a church musician throughout her life and career. Singing in church choirs as a child, and then studying organ with her church choir director, Linda attended and graduated from Westminster Choir College as a Church Music Major, with a focus on Organ, Voice, and Conducting.
Residing in New Jersey after college, Linda was the Minister of Music at Stanton Reformed Church and Alexandria and Clinton Presbyterian Churches where she served as organist, children’s, adult, and handbell choir director. Linda was the founding director of the 80-voice Hunterdon Youth Choir and was a Kindermusik teacher and training instructor for Kindermusik International, where she travelled throughout the country training teachers. Linda directed the children’s choir on several Kindermusik recordings. Here in Delaware, Linda was the founding co-chair of the Delaware ACDA Church Choir Festival.
