Sunday School - On Sundays at 9:45, concurrent with the Contemporary Service we offer multi-media, story based bible journeys for students in grades 6 through 12.

Youth Mid Week Bible Study – Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm Founder’s Hall.
All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us every Wednesday night from 6:30pm-7:30pm in Founders' Hall for Bible Study. This Bible Study is weekly program that seeks to lead our youth groups through 4 levels of study on prayer, scripture, faith, salvation, commitment, and understanding the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ. Each session will include interactive lessons with activities, multi-media presentations, discussion, and prayer. There will also be times for fellowship and just getting to know each other better.

Confirmation - Confirmation is our 7th grade program designed to prepare students for membership in Hockessin United Methodist Church. This program aims to help our students grow spiritually through Bible study and socially through youth programs and trips.

The Big House (6th-12th Grade) - The Big House is a fun event that we hold on the last Friday night of every month from 7:00-9:00pm in Founders' Hall. During this event, students are given 2 full hours of FREE TIME!! We have a pool table, air hockey table, video game systems and board games available to play. We also play sports such as soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball and more when the weather is nice. During the evening, students are also given the opportunity to chow down on hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and lots of other snacks absolutely FREE!! Friends are always welcome at The Big House.

Youth Vocal Ensemble - A choir for middle school to high school students. They sing on a rotational basis at all 3 services.

Appalachia Service Project - During the summer, Hockessin UMC sends teams of youth and adults to help repair and upgrade homes in Appalachia. Preparation starts in the fall with fund-raisers, Bible Study and skill development.
